Apprendre, Enseigner, Instruire, Éduquer
يشتمعان في معنى واحد،ولكن لكل منهما إستخدامات خاصة.
The French verbs apprendre, enseigner, instruire, and éduquer all mean to teach, but have different uses and nuances.x

Apprendre means to teach a technique.x
It can only be used in the following constructions:x
apprendre quelque chose à quelqu'un - to teach someone something
apprendre à quelqu'un à faire quelque chose - to teach someone (how) to do something
Examples:i
Chantal is teaching my son to play the guitar.x
Chantal apprend la guitare à mon fils.x
He teaches children to ski.x
Il apprend aux enfants à skier.x
Can you teach me to read?x
Pouvez-vous m'apprendre à lire ?x
Apprendre also means to learn and can be used in two constructions: apprendre + noun and apprendre à + infinitive
Examples:i
My son is learning (to play the) guitar.x
Mon fils apprend la guitare.x
The children are learning to ski.x
Les enfants apprennent à skier.x
I want to learn to read.x
Je veux apprendre à lire.x

Instruire means to teach someone.x
It cannot be used to specify what is being taught and is used only in the construction instruire quelqu'un.x
Examples:i
She teaches foreign students.x
Elle instruit les étudiants étrangers.x
You have to teach children by example.x
Il faut instruire les enfants par exemple.x

Éduquer is used just like instruire, except that it is very general: it can refer to vague concepts, particularly morals and manners.i
Examples:i
The church must educate its people.x
L'église doit éduquer son peuple.x
These children are well educated (well-mannered).x
Ces enfants sont bien éduqués.x
